DO WE HAVE TO WEAR MASKS WHILE INSIDE THE ROOM?

We still sanitize between every group but masks are NOT REQUIRED to enter.

DO I NEED TO BRING A TEAM? CAN I PLAY BY MYSELF?

Escape Rooms are a team effort and all rooms require a minimum of 2 people. Our rooms are recommended for 4-6 people.

DO WE HAVE TO PLAY WITH STRANGERS?

No, all rooms are private regardless of the group size.

WILL THERE BE SMOKE AND/OR LASERS INSIDE THE ROOM?

YES, some of our rooms certainly use fog machines and/or lasers for various puzzles and effects. If this is a concern, please contact us via phone for more details.

WHAT IF I'M CLAUSTROPHOBIC?

We have been contacted by people that are claustrophobic and we are ready to provide them with the actual measurements of our rooms for consideration. Also some rooms may require squeezing or crawling through passages that are narrower than a typical door. If that is a concern to you, please contact us directly for any questions to help you determine if a room is right for you.

IS IT DARK OR SCARY IN YOUR ROOMS?

No, it is not. Our rooms have dimmed light to maximize the experience but are not designed to be scary. There are some unexpected surprises though, and rarely people do startle, but most are just excited when they see them.

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

We ask that you use common sense and be safe first and foremost. That said, here are our basic rules:

  1. The floor, the ceiling, windows and window coverings are not included in the game: no bricks need to be pulled out, floor boards pulled up, etc.
  2. The electricity is real and not to be played with. No need to do anything with the light fixtures, outlets, switches, etc.
  3. No force is needed everything that is meant to open, opens nice and smoothly if you do the right thing. If a picture is screwed into the wall, it means it is not meant to be moved.
  4. You do not need to climb anywhere or on anything.
  5. No need to disassemble or move the furniture. You may sit on chairs only (not on tables etc.)
  6. Please be careful with items inside the room. Most objects, furniture are real antiques and can be quite expensive if broken. If you break items or otherwise cause damage to the room, we will charge the card you used to make the booking to cover the cost of replacement or repair.
If you need help or are not sure if you should be doing something – just ask us for a hint or a clue, we are watching the game over the camera and we can hear you and talk to you.

WHO CAN PLAY YOUR ESCAPE ROOMS?

In two words – a team. Anyone can play but you will fair best in a team. Note that some clues require a minimum of 2 people to be solved. As a part of a team, people of all ages and backgrounds can be participating in the action – from children to seniors. Children under 14 need to be accompanied by the parent (at least 1 adult per 5 children). Children 14 and older may play without supervision, but will need a signed waver. Please email us for the waver link in advance.

I HATE LOSING. WHAT IF WE CAN NOT SOLVE THE PUZZLE?

Escape rooms would not be fun if they were not challenging. Speed and success rates vary greatly depending on the participants. But no worries, we are here to help you. From the time the lock turns, the team is supervised by the game master through a web camera. You can ask for a clue at any time; the game master will try to give small clues, in small doses, to avoid spoiling your game, but will provide more if asked to.

IS IT BORING AND OVER COMPLICATED? DO I NEED SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE?

No. It has nothing similar to an IQ test or mathematics competitions. We provide experiences, not exams. All you need is general logic and a basic understanding of math to be able to play the game to your best ability.

IS IT PHYSICAL OR STRESSFUL? ANY SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE?

Absolutely not. If you can handle sitting or standing in a room for 60 minutes, then you can participate. Please consider that there will be some level of stress, like in the movies – you wouldn’t recommend going to a thriller or horror movie to someone with heart problems, for example. NOTE: Certain clues might require ducking or crawling through a passage. Minimum clearances are 6 square feet.

WILL I BE ACTUALLY LOCKED IN A ROOM?

No. The fire code prohibits it. However, all of our rooms have a final objective different from actually escaping the room. For example you may need to find the “Secret Amulet” or steal the “Diamond”.

HOW LONG THE GAME LAST?

Our games last exactly 60 minutes, plus time needed to give each team preliminary instructions and a quick briefing.

WHAT IS THE ESCAPE RATE FOR YOUR ROOMS?

Rates vary and change over time. Currently here are the numbers: The Pink Panther = 37.51% success rate, The Amulet of Time = 41.06% success rate, and The Book of Souls = 28.94% success rate. Those rates are calculated using up to 3 clues, however we do offer unlimited clues. So if you’re ever stuck, simply ask your game master for another clue.

DO YOU HAVE HORROR ESCAPE GAMES?

Not really. Our rooms are more in the mysterious, magical realm. So don’t worry, there are lots of thrills but no chills.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REAL ESCAPE ROOM AND ONLINE ESCAPE GAMES?

The difference is watching a movie and being in one = HUGE. It is our goal that you feel part of the story that you are playing.

CAN I BRING IN MY CELLPHONE? WHAT ABOUT FOOD OR DRINK?

We do not allow food or drinks inside rooms, and we do provide a locker for you to store your items while you play.

CAN I BUY TICKETS AS A GIFT?

Sure you can. We offer Gift Certificates here.

HOW DO I REDEEM COUPON VOUCHER?

If you bought a coupon for the game, please select a coupon option when booking. Coupons don’t work for every time slot, so please pay attention for your coupon’s fine print. Gift vouchers may be redeemed here.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON’T ESCAPE IN TIME?

You will stay with us forever and be welcome members of our growing team! 😉 Just kidding. Once your time is up, we’ll still let you out of the room. After all, the law says we have to!

WHAT IF WE ESCAPE IN TIME?

We promise, you’ll have so many unforgettable experiences and have something to discuss several hours, days, even weeks later! And you depending on the game you might receive a bonus item.

CAN WE BRING MORE PEOPLE?

Our max capacity is stated on every room’s page. It is usually 5-6 people. Larger groups might fit in our rooms but we feel that it would spoil the experience. You can always call us and discuss your situation if needed, and we’ll try to help as best we can.

WHAT CLOTHES DO I NEED TO WEAR?

Anything that is comfortable. We do have some teams who come all dressed up according to the theme of the room and they definitely have fun! We also have some themed accessories available if you’d like to look the part in the photos.

CAN YOU DO ANYTHING SPECIAL FOR BIRTHDAY/BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE PARTIES?

Yes, we will be happy to either hide a present in our puzzles or customize them for your special event. Please call to coordinate.

CAN I PLAY ONE ROOM MORE THAN ONCE?

If you didn’t escape in time, you are more than welcome to come back and try again next time. Otherwise we do not recommend this – it will be much less fun to play the game over again. We have other rooms for you for you to try out!

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL TO THE ROOM?

No, we do not allow alcohol in our escape room. This is a game of wits and logic. We do not recommend visiting under the influence as well. If you are intoxicated you may not be allowed to play and may be asked to leave the premises without a refund.

HOW IS PARKING?

You may park behind the building in designated spots, or otherwise there is plenty of free parking along the street.
